CO-CURRICULAR AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Participation of students in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities is essential for developing their overall personality and to inculcate the qualities that are essential to succeed in life. Students are given ample opportunities to participate in these activities.
Students associations organize both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like technical visits, workshops, seminars, guest lectures by industry experts, blood donation camps etc.
Excellent facilities exist for indoor and outdoor games. Students under the guidance of concerned teachers regularly utilize these facilities. The selection of students is done for various events, regular practice sessions are arranged and students are allowed to participate in inter-collegiate, inter-zonal and inter-university sporting events, tournaments and competitions.
CLASS TEACHER / COLLEGE GUARDIAN SCHEME
A teaching staff member is appointed as Class Teacher for each class in order to solve the problems faced by students, within as well as outside the Institute. College Guardians are also appointed in order to boost up the morale of the students so that they can fully concentrate on their studies. They also maintain good relation with the parents and guardians of the students. Attendance reports are communicated to the parents /guardians. Parents and local guardians are requested to reciprocate for the benefit of their wards.
Annual Cultural Event NAKSHATRA 2010
The Annual cultural event NAKSHATRA-2010 was celebrated in institute with very cheerful environment on 10th and 11th Feb 2010. The inauguration of Art Exhibition was done at auspicious hands of Dr. A. V. Deshmukh, Principal, of Dr.Daulatrao Aher college of engg. Karad. The prize distribution was arranged on 11th Feb 2010 and inaugurated at auspicious hands of Dr. S. G. Sabnis , Ex-Principal, Yashvantrao Chavan College of Science Karad, Mr. S.V. Umarjikar , and Mr. A. P. Yadav.
