Office and Academic Administration
The main aim of Administrative Department of Dr Daulatrao Aher College of engineering karad. is to provide satisfactory service to the students, staff and parents of the institute
Administrative Department is functionally divided into four Sections, namely Establishment, Accounts, exam section and Students Section.
Next, there are Registrars to look after office administration and Academic Administration.
Functions of Academic Administration:
To look after Human Resource Development, Training, Performance Measure of employees as well as students. Making policies and programs for the development of individuals.
Functions of Office Administration:
To look after day to day office matter of establishment, students’ section, account section, exam section and hostel coordination. In addition publicity, institute level programs are supported by the office.
1. Establishment Section: It handles matters like -
- Recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Maintaining their service records.
- Proposals for increments and promotions.
- Documentation at the time of joining / resignation / retirement.
- Preparation of documents for submission to statutory bodies like Shivaji university Kolhapur, AICTE and Government of Maharashtra.
- Correspondence
2. Accounts Section: This Section deals with -
- Maintenance of accounts
- Collection and refund (in case of cancellation) of fees to students
- Drawing salaries of the staff
- Statutory payments like provident fund, income tax, etc.
3. Students Section: This Section is responsible for -
- Admission of students
- Getting the eligibility of admitted students.
- Getting merit list of admitted students.
- Distribution of results
- Maintenance of students record
- Handling scholarships and free-ships to students
- Issuing various certificates and transcripts to students
4. Examination Section
To look after office matters regarding examinations of university, filing exam forms, and getting results from the University and similar activities. |
